As well as being a pen and ink draughtsman of remarkable sensitivity and imagination, Tom Greeves made an important contribution to the protection of Victorian London. He founded the Victorian Society in 1957. This picture was purchased from him by Ken Reilly at the launch of his remarkable book RUINED CITIES OF THE IMAGINATION in an exhibition at Atrium Bookshop Cork Street on the 15th November 1995
